Venson Amsterdam B.V., trading as Blush Jewels, sells jewellery through the website https://blush-jewels.com/. In order to offer our services, it is necessary to process personal data. Your privacy is of great importance to us. Therefore, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This privacy and cookie statement applies to both the online and offline services of Blush Jewels.
Our privacy and cookie statement in short
When processing personal data, we comply with privacy legislation. This means that we:
- Clearly define our purposes before processing your personal data, via this privacy and cookie statement.
- Store as little personal data as possible and only the data necessary for our purposes.
- Explicitly seek consent to process your personal data, should consent be required.
- Take necessary security measures to protect your personal data. We also impose these obligations on parties processing personal data for us.
- Respect your rights, such as the right to access, correct or delete your personal data processed with us.
For what purposes do we use your personal data?
In this privacy and cookie statement, we explain what we at Blush Jewels do with information we learn about you. By using our services, we obtain various types of personal data from you. For each purpose, we indicate what data we obtain from you, for what purpose we process it and for how long it is stored. If you have any questions or want to know exactly what we store from you, please contact us using the details at the bottom of this privacy and cookie statement.

- Telephone number
- Any information you enter yourself as content of a message
We keep this information, for as long as necessary for this contact or up to 1 year after we last contacted you, because we want to make sure we have handled your query or complaint properly.
This data is analysed by Google LLC. From this, Google determines whether they are dealing with a legitimate visitor or a bot. A genuine visitor must click certain boxes, and then check a box, confirming they are not a robot. The message can then be sent to us via the form. For more information, please refer to Google's privacy policy.

For this purpose, we process the following personal data:

Customer reviews

To this end, we process the following personal data:
- Name and address details
- Contact details (e-mail address and telephone number)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Motivation letter

- Any other information you enclose with your application
We keep your application data for up to 6 weeks after the position has been filled. We keep this data so that we can contact you in case the position becomes vacant again within the probationary period. If we cannot offer you a position at this time, we may - with your consent - keep the application data for an additional year. You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending us an e-mail. If you join us, we will keep your application data in your personnel file. This file is kept for as long as necessary and, with regard to application data, for up to 2 years after employment.
A social media and internet survey may be part of the application process. This is necessary to ensure that our image is maintained when hiring new staff, we do this based on our legitimate interest. To do this, we search for your name on Google, and your profile (if any) on various social media. This of course insofar as these profiles are public; we will not ask you to grant us access to a protected social media page or make a connection with us. The results of the survey will be discussed with you. Should you object to this, please indicate this by e-mail at the time of application.
Fraud prevention
For both you and us, it is very annoying when fraud occurs. In some cases, it may be necessary to process your data to prevent or investigate fraud. Blush Jewels has a legitimate interest to process the data needed for this purpose. The impact on your privacy is limited because the processing only takes place in case of (suspected) fraud.
When may we share your personal data with third parties?
Blush Jewels only shares your data with third parties where this is permitted under current legislation. We may provide your personal data to third parties because:
- we have engaged them to process certain data;
- this is necessary to execute the agreement with you;
- you consent to this;
- we have a legitimate interest in doing so;
- we are required to do so by law (e.g. if the police require this in case of suspected crime).
The parties processing personal data on our or your behalf are:
- IT suppliers and service providers
- Cookie service providers
- Payment service providers
- Mail order companies
In order to provide our services, we may provide your personal data to parties based outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Blush Jewels only does so if there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of personal data. This means, for example, that we use a model agreement from the European Commission or make agreements on the handling of personal data.
Social media buttons
On our website, we use social media buttons, which redirect you to the social media platforms. This gives you the option to follow us and share content within the network. You will also see advertisements on your social media page. The buttons work because of pieces of code coming from the social media networks. If you want to know what the social media platforms do with your personal data, please read the relevant privacy statement:
These social media companies are based in the United States. They claim to adhere to Privacy Shield principles and have joined the US Department of Commerce's Privacy Shield programme. Until recently, joining the Privacy Shield programme meant that there was an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data. However, with the EU Court of Justice ruling of 16 July 2020 (Schrems II case), this Privacy Shield has been declared invalid. We are currently exploring how best to overcome this. We are very committed to privacy and are trying to do everything we can to reach an appropriate solution. If we have a suitable solution, we will inform you of it via this privacy notice. Do you have any questions about the processing of your personal data? If so, please contact us, using the contact details in this privacy statement.
