Last Thursday we hosted a breakfast in Amsterdam for 25 women, in celebration of motherly bonds.
As Mothers Day approaches, we wanted to think about what motherly love and that bond truly represent, and celebrate the many forms in which we find it.Therefore, each guest was invited to bring someone with whom they share that unconditional love and support that we found to be the essence of these relationships.
As we shared breakfast, we also shared the story behind Blush. Our philosophy is simple: jewellery has the unique power to capture emotions, marking the most precious moments and making them last.
Each guest received a Blush piece: one to treasure for themselves and one to give to whom they brought. It symbolises the enduring connections we hold dear, a tangible reminder that these bonds are important and worth celebrating. 
Among those in attendance were journalists from Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Volkskrant, and Parool, alongside influencers such as Yara Michels, Tess van Zalinge, and Olivia Lonsdale. Together, we embraced the spirit of the day—a time to connect, reflect, and celebrate love in all its forms. And we are so thankful everyone took the time to join us. 
Nicole – our Art Director - also shared a personal story about one of her Blush pieces. She wears two engraved Blush lockets, with the smaller of the two made for her eldest daughter Ella just after she was born. Nicole has not taken the locket off since Ella was 6 weeks old. And one day, it will be passed on to Ella, at a special moment in her life. This was another example of how unique jewellery is with its ability to hold feelings. And how the fact that we wear it on our skin and pass it on, makes it so meaningful that it becomes part of who we are.
