Pendants

In our collection you'll find lockets, heart-shaped pendants, round pendants, solitaire pendants and diamond pendants, cubic zirconia, mother-of-pearl or lab diamond, among others. There are also bicolour pendants where yellow gold and white gold come together. A popular pendant is an oval locket with room for an engraving. This allows you to choose between a personalised piece of jewellery or a pendant with more shine.

A pendant usually hangs straight when the chain is well balanced and the clasp sits at the back of the neck. With lighter pendants this generally settles naturally, while heavier or asymmetric shapes may rotate slightly. This is part of wearing a pendant necklace and creates a natural effect. Choosing the right length and fit means the pendant generally stays nicely visible at the front. Necklace extensions can also help with this.

Not every pendant automatically fits every chain. Pay particular attention to the size of the pendant's loop and the thickness of the chain you want to wear it on. A delicate necklace usually calls for a smaller pendant, while a sturdier chain can carry more weight. Always check carefully whether the pendant moves smoothly over the clasp and links. Some pendants in our collection are suitable for engraving, such as lockets with a smooth surface or a panel on the inside. You can choose, for example, initials, a date or a short name. Not every pendant has enough room for engraving, particularly designs with stones or open shapes. Check per product whether a personalised necklace and pendant option is available.

First look at the length and thickness of your chain. A small pendant looks lovely on a delicate chain, while a locket or larger pendant comes into its own on a slightly sturdier necklace. The gold colour is also important: yellow gold necklaces, white gold necklaces and rose gold necklaces each give a different effect. Choosing the pendant and chain in proportion keeps the overall look comfortable to wear.

With some chains you can wear multiple pendants together, but this depends on the thickness of the chain and the opening of the pendant. A combination works best when the pendants differ in size, so they don't sit directly on top of one another. Choose, for example, a letter with a small stone or a subtle gold pendant with a personal symbol. Just make sure the chain isn't loaded too heavily.

A locket is a pendant with a more closed, often oval or round shape, and sometimes room for a personal engraving. An ordinary pendant, on the other hand, can be open, small, set with a stone or shaped as a symbol. Lockets are often chosen for their ability to add a personal touch. Other pendants are mainly suited as a visible detail on your chain.

Store standalone pendants separately in a jewellery box or pouch, ideally one piece at a time. Small pendants can easily get lost among other jewellery or get scratched through contact with chains and rings. If possible, fasten the chain you wear the pendant on before storing it. This keeps everything organised and prevents damage.
